A LIBERATOR’S LEGACY: WWII VETERAN JUDGE AARON COHN AT EBENSEE as told by his daughter Gail Cohn.
Eleven years after his death in 2012, Judge Aaron Cohn is still revered in Columbus as a consummate civic leader and juvenile justice advocate. But during World War II, he was one of the soldiers who helped liberate the Ebensee concentration camp in Austria. Please join us as his daughter Gail Cohn shares the story of how the Judge’s reception as a Jewish Liberator by the prisoners resonates to this day.
