Hear Yamona Pierces’ story of how a search for her third great grandparents' graves led to the discovery of over 500 African American and enslaved peoples' graves, some dating back to the 1800s.

Mona Pierce is the founder of the Hamilton Hood Foundation, which hopes to “create a model with the hope of empowering others to come together, make their own discoveries, and honor their past”
