2026 CELEBRATION OF LIFE: BUTTERFLY RELEASE
The West Central Georgia Cancer Coalition and their community partners present this annual celebration that recognizes, honors, and remembers those who have battled cancer and their caregivers.

The event features heartfelt stories, local vendors, entertainment, and is capped with a release of live butterflies in the Yancey Children’s Garden of the Columbus Public Library. The public is invited to join us!

The Columbus Public Library serves as the anchor branch for the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries and has been named one of the “10 Most Beautiful Libraries in Georgia.” Meeting Rooms, Auditorium and Computer Lab can be booked for public events up to 90 days in advance.
