The South Columbus Public Library is undergoing extensive renovation and expansion, with an expected re-opening in spring 2024. Full library services are available at the temporary location just two blocks north at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1973 Torch Hill Road.
The South Columbus Public Library is conveniently located near the entrance of Ft. Benning and up the road from area attractions such as the National Infantry Museum, Oxbow Meadows, and Historic Westville. The branch has one meeting room space that seats 45 people and includes a flat-screen TV with HDMI cable, a podium, and white board. Laptops are available for checkout with a photo I.D. and valid library card. Groups booking the meeting room can configure the room setup on a self-service basis.
