AARP Tax Aide returns to the Mildred L. Terry Public Library.
We are pleased to once again serve as locations for the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide. This program provides free tax preparation services to those with lower incomes and to those age 50 and over.
This year, all Tax-Aide sessions will be scheduled in advance.
Service at the Mildred L. Terry Public Library will be available on Mondays, January 26th - April 13th, 10:00am – 1:00pm (no session on Monday February 16th) and Saturdays bi-weekly running from February 7th to April 4th with an added Saturday session on January 31. Online Reservations will be available in January. To access, please click on this link and enter "Muscogee County, GA" in the search bar. Hit enter and then choose your location and click "View Results" to see the branch information. There you click "View Details" to see available times and to make your reservation Sessions will take place in the Friends Meeting Room.

The Mildred L. Terry Library has been serving customers near the heart of the city of Columbus since 1952. Named for its former branch manager, the Library was founded as the segregated “Colored” library for the area. In its 60+ year history it has grown to serve the needs of all area residents as a community center, a location for research and a place for outstanding family programs. Three rooms of various sizes are available to be booked by the public
