Learn preservation strategies for your old photos and documents. We’ll also go over how to use the Library’s archival scanner to save items digitally.
Each month, we invite you to bring special items and participate in a short workshop to learn how to scan, photograph, and save them!
Thur. September 18 – Bring your photos to learn how to scan and save them!
Thur. October 16 – Bring your newspaper articles to learn how to scan and save them!
Thur. November 20 – Bring your family recipes cards to learn how to scan and save them!
Thur. December 18 – Bring your small textiles and heirlooms to learn how to photograph them!

The Columbus Public Library serves as the anchor branch for the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries and has been named one of the “10 Most Beautiful Libraries in Georgia.” Meeting Rooms, Auditorium and Computer Lab can be booked for public events up to 90 days in advance.
