Join us for this fun engineering challenge inspired by the work of Maurice Sendak. Teens will compete to construct the strongest boat possible using various materials we provide. Then they will race their creations in our kiddie pool. This event is open to teens ages 12-years-old through the 12th grade (no older than 18).
The Columbus Public Library serves as the anchor branch for the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries and has been named one of the “10 Most Beautiful Libraries in Georgia.” Meeting Rooms, Auditorium and Computer Lab can be booked for public events up to 90 days in advance.
