This class will cover the basics on how to start your family history research. Please call 706.243.2681 to reserve your space.
The instructor will begin by going over the forms needed to get started; and then cover print and microfilm resources available to help the participants in their family history research. The class will cover how to use the census as well as regional state and federal resources and religious resources.
The Columbus Public Library serves as the anchor branch for the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries and has been named one of the “10 Most Beautiful Libraries in Georgia.” Meeting Rooms, Auditorium and Computer Lab can be booked for public events up to 90 days in advance.
