Preserve your story now! Reserve a time to be assisted by genealogy staff in recording an oral history of experiences during racial segregation in Columbus. Recording through the month of July.

Technology will be set up for you, so all you have to do is press 'record'. After the recording we will assist you in creating an account and uploading the oral history to StoryCorps. Recordings can be done alone or with a loved one. Questions are available to help guide the conversation.

Recordings will take place in the Genealogy & Local History Room.

This public program is being offered as a part of the exhibit and community engagement initiative The Bias Inside Us. The exhibit is on display at the Columbus Public Library from July 2 - July 31. Admission is free.
