In honor of the NEA Big Read title Circe by Madeline Miller, learn how the practices of the ancient Greeks and Romans and common roots of their words still impact our lives today.
Did you know that mythology is still relevant and present in our everyday, modern lives? In honor of the NEA Big Read title Circe by Madeline Miller, Ms. Beverly will teach historical information on some well-known (and some not-so-well-known) Greek and Roman gods and goddesses, and how from the cereal you eat each morning to the medicines that make you feel better, the practices of the ancient Greeks and Romans and common roots of their words still impact our lives today.
